Good Morning Church Family,
I wanted to write first thing this morning, I left yesterday so excited and blessed to the response of the Holy Spirit. We are living in an exciting time in our Church, and we know that our “New Normal” is living in Unity in the Holy Spirit. Out with the Old and in with the New. The Old mindset is gone, the old way of living is gone. We are a New Creation.
This Week:
This Sunday we will have Volunteers coming to the Church to work on our Virtual VBS. We will have parents register your families so we know how many boxes to make. We will be praying over these boxes and are really excited to see families participate in the VBS together. If you would like to volunteer, get with Jess, Kam or Stacie.
Also, starting this Sunday we are going to open Nursery, Toddlers, and Children’s Church up. Nursery workers and Toddler Workers will be wearing masks. Children’s Church will be happening in the Fellowship Hall to give Jess enough room to spread the kiddos out. We have had a lot of fun, and have been extremely blessed going from home to home this summer doing Children’s Church. But, Jess will be going back to work so we want to ensure that we are still able to reach our Kiddos in a safe and fun environment.
Church, I have a letter from Dee Stephens that I would like to share with you.
Dear Church Family, I don’t know how I am going to express my appreciation for all you have done to show your love to Jan. It was shown through visits to Meadowview Place and cards and calls, when we could no longer go in. It was shown by letting me know that you were praying for me. There were texts and calls to me, words of encouragement and prayers over the phone. There were messages that I relayed to Jan when all we could do was Facetime. Thank you for your love shown through the dinner served to our family on June 18th as we gathered to have Jan’s celebration of Life Service. Down though the years our Church family has been there! Thank you for the blessing you were to my sister Jan.
